Terms & Conditions
By placing an order for a vehicle with Direct Fleet
Solutions, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained
below.
Contract Formation
1. We invite you to submit a request for a quotation and any
information required about your desired vehicles specification to us.
On receipt of your request we will provide you with a written quotation
with all prices and costs suggested for such vehicles. This quotation
is for information purposes only and is not an offer to sell you a
vehicle.
2. If you are happy with the price quoted then you should contact
your sales executive to place an order. Our sales executive will
confirm the order with you and at this stage take a deposit. Only at
this point will a contract be formed with you and Direct Fleet
Solutions. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm the vehicle
ordered and show deposit taken.
Deposits
3. The sum required for all deposits are as follows :-
Vehicle Value up to £25,000 - £250 Deposit
Vehicle Value £25,001 - £40,000 - £500 Deposit
Vehicle Value £40,001 - £60,000 - £750 Deposit
Vehicle Value £60,000+ - £1000 Deposit
4. All deposits taken are either deducted from the balance due for
payment, refunded in full upon delivery of your new vehicle due to a
balance due of 0 and or any overpayment made by yourself to us.
5. If we fail to supply the vehicle due to failure on our part we
will refund your deposit straight away otherwise deposits are
non-refundable other than Clause 4 due to overpayment.
New Car Purchase
6. The purchase price of the vehicle includes road tax (which may be
subject to change), Value Added Tax as specified, any optional extras
specified, number plates, delivery charges and admin fees.
7. The purchase price may increase subject to road tax variations
due to increases between the formation of the contract and delivery of
your new vehicle.
8. The balance due will be the purchase price less any deposit paid,
settlement figure and part exchange allowance. All balances must be
paid by Bankers Draft made payable to “Direct Fleet Solutions Ltd”
(unless another method is agreed by yourself and Direct Fleet Solutions
Ltd) prior to delivery of your vehicle.
9. Full payment of the vehicle will be due prior to delivery of your new vehicle to your specified address.
10. If you fail to pay the balance due for your new vehicle then the
delivery will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded unless
you the client have specified a new delivery date and agreed payment
terms with us and wishing to proceed with the order.
V5 – Logbook
11. The title, property both legally and equitably will not be
transferred to you or delivered until we have received payment in full
in an event of an outright purchase.
Finance & Lease Packages
12. The initial payment due for any finance package taken is payable
prior to delivery unless agreed otherwise. As we have a panel of
lenders, some will take initial payments via Direct Debit and in doing
so your deposit will be refunded due to overpayment.
13. If you decide to opt for any finance package or lease agreement
you will be subject to further terms and conditions set out by these
agreements.
14. All prices and fees will be shown before an order is placed
including road tax (which may be subject to change), VAT if applicable,
any optional extras specified, number plates, delivery charges and
admin fees. No other hidden charges will be applied.
15. We will require identification to support your finance package.
We will generally require Driving Licence (both parts) and recent
utility bill. Any other ID required from you will be communicated to
you prior to signing of your finance agreement.
Delivery
16. If we are able to provide an initial delivery date, this will be
an estimate based upon information given to us by
Manufacturers/Suppliers. This initial date is an estimate and will be
the earliest we can get the vehicle into the UK
17. We will endeavour to supply the vehicle on the specified dates
or sooner if required but we are dependent on the Manufacturers/
Suppliers delivery timescales and build times.
18. We will regularly update our clients when we receive any information of any delivery dates via telephone/email.
19. If a vehicle has been put back due to Manufacturers and
Suppliers delays we will contact you and you have 5 working days to
consider the new proposed date and cancel this order in writing with
us. We will then cancel our order with the Manufacturers and Suppliers
due to these delays and return your deposit. We reserve the right to
withdraw from the contract if you fail to confirm your acceptance
within 5 working days of the new proposed delivery date. A charge of
£250 inclusive of VAT will be taken from any deposit already taken and
remainder of the balance returned to you in such circumstance.
20. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you for any loss
or delay caused other than to refund the deposit already paid less
admin charge in Clause 19 if applicable.
21. Vehicle delivery is included in the extent of driven delivery.
The delivery mileage will not be deducted from any mileage restrictions
you may have set out in any finance agreements.
22. If transportation of your vehicle is required then an extra charge will have to be applied which can be quoted for.
